Linda W. Baughan

­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­Dr. Baughan received her B.S. in Biology from Christopher Newport University and her Master of Education degree from Virginia Commonwealth University. She entered dental school as a non-traditional student after having taught in public schools for six years. Upon graduation from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry in 1983, Dr. Baughan practiced in Richmond, Virginia as a general dentist and served as adjunct faculty at VCU School of Dentistry until she entered dental education full time in 1988. Dr. Baughan received her graduate Certificate of Aging Studies in 1993 and Certificate of Endodontics in 2000. She served two years as Senior Associate Consultant in the Department of Dental Specialties at Mayo Clinic and later returned to dental education in 2003. She has served as faculty in the Department of General Practice and Department of Endodontics at VCU. In addition, she has served on the inaugural teams establishing the pre-clinical endodontic curricula for UNLV School of Dental Medicine and Roseman University College of Dental Medicine. Dr. Baughan is pleased to now serve as Clinical Professor in the UNE College of Dental Medicine.
