Meg Webster joined UNE’s School of Social Work staff in August of 2016.  Prior to being hired at UNE,  she worked at the Intercultural Community Center in Westbrook, ME as a Program Coordinator and ELL Teacher where she provided services within the immigrant, refugee, and asylee communities.   Before this, she worked at UMaine Orono's Intensive English Institute, John Bapst High School's International Dorm, and The Shaw House Homeless Shelter for Teens in Bangor, ME.  

Meg also does freelance media art production producing multicultural and advocacy shorts.  She's produced media for UNE's School of Social Work, the U.S. Government Accountability Office, and select independent artists and organizations. She currently co-writes multicultural narrative pieces for alt-magazine Portland Phoenix, where her photography has also been featured.
