Dr. Sullivan earned her Doctorate of Pharmacy degree from Wilkes University's Nesbitt College of Pharmacy and Nursing, Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. She received her teaching certificate and completed a PGY-1 Community Practice/Ambulatory Care residency at The Ohio State University College of Pharmacy and Kroger Patient Care Center, Columbus, Ohio. Dr. Sullivan served as the inaugural AFPE-NACDS Foundation Faculty Fellow in Community Pharmacy Practice. Prior to joining the University of New England in 2011, Dr. Sullivan was a faculty member at the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy. During her appointment, Dr. Sullivan was responsible for the oversight of the Pharmacy Practice Laboratory at the School of Pharmacy's satellite campus, at the Universities at Shady Grove. In addition, she was involved in didactic and experiential education revolving around dermatology, nonprescription medications, patient education, community pharmacy practice and pharmacy education. In conjunction with her appointment at the School of Pharmacy, she served as a clinical pharmacist with Safeway Pharmacy, specializing in medication therapy management (MTM), immunizations and community outreach events. Her areas of interest include MTM, disease state management, immunizations, patient access programs and patient education.
