Namita Khandelwal

Dr. Khandelwal completed her dental training in India and was in private practice before she moved to the USA. She then completed her M.S. in Clinical Investigation from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. Following her Master’s program, she moved to the Rutgers School of Dental Medicine and completed her specialty training in Periodontics and Implant Dentistry. During residency, Dr. Khandelwal trained extensively in multidisciplinary approach and was also involved in multiple research projects. She has presented at regional, national, and international meetings. She is a recipient of Michael J. Deasy Scholarship for academic and clinical excellence and is an active member of the American Academy of Periodontology. Her research areas of interest are dental implants in medically compromised patients and Aggressive Periodontitis. Dr. Khandelwal also completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry program and is now pleased to join the faculty at the University of New England College of Dental Medicine.
