Nicole O'Brien

Nicole has worked in public health as a research assistant on a variety of projects, grants, evaluations and reports. Over the past six years, she has organized events, worked with students and community partners and participated in projects ranging from grant coordination to organizing interprofessional trainings.  Nicole currently manages the Community Access to Child Health in Maine (CATCH-ME) grant. In this capacity she supports the PI in implementing the goals of the CATCH-ME grant by coordinating student stipends, filing federal grant reports, hosting annual trainings and acting as the liaison between students, the University, and the Federal grantor.  She also facilitates a student stipend program through the New England Public Health Training Center. Nicole is passionate about assisting health professional students through trainings and educational support.
