Scott has been in his current position as Academic Fieldwork Coordinator at UNE since 2012 and an occupational therapist since 2003. He enjoys not only supporting students, but also fieldwork educators at partner facilities around the country. His clinical experience includes various adult and older adult settings such as acute care, skilled nursing facilities, and home health. Other areas of focus for Scott include various professional issues at the state and national level, diversity within OT, and advocacy for the profession.
In the larger OT community, Scott is active at the local and national levels with the Maine Occupational Therapy Association (MEOTA), New England Occupational Therapy Education Council (NEOTEC), and the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA).
