Taffy Davis

Taffy Davis received a M.S.N. education from Western Governor's Univsersity and has over 30 years of acute care experience, including: education, emergency, ortho., and management.  Management experience includes: medsurg, surgical services and outpatient clinics/oncology with up 80 FTE's (approx. 130 people), budgets of $6 million, implemented new programs, new service lines, taught budgeting and facilitated leadership training. She is ANCC board certified in Nursing Professional Development.

Taffy is also the Lead Consultant for Lunder Dineen in building online modules and facilitationg workshops for the Maine Nurse Preceptor Education and MOTIVATE (oral health) programs.  

Professional presentations include presenting at the Association for Nurses in Professional Development national conventions on Best Practices for Developing a State-wide Nursing Preceptor Program (2016) and Identifying Barriers to Using Web Based Tools for Nurse Educators (2014).

She enjoys learning about learning, is a bee keeper, reader, local historian and skier.
