In a partnership with Maine Medical Center, Togus VA Medical Center, and Eastern Maine Medical Center, UNE College of Pharmacy offers a teaching certificate program designed to immerse pharmacy residents in academic pharmacy.

The post-graduate residents from each of the three medical centers participating in the program are graduates of colleges of pharmacy from around the nation.

The program exposes residents to didactic teaching experiences, experiential teaching, and self-paced online learning modules. At the completion of the program, the residents receive dual recognition from UNE College of Pharmacy and their primary institution for the completion of this rigorous teaching experience.

The residents are required to teach topics in courses within the UNE College of Pharmacy curriculum as part of their work for the Residency Teaching Certificate Program.
