Master of Public Health Overview
The Master of Public Health (MPH) degree is a 46-credit graduate program of the University of New England’s College of Graduate Studies that provides education in the disciplines associated with public health.
The format includes distance education and a part-time option. The MPH program is designed to be accessible anywhere there is a computer, and welcomes both adult learners and traditional students.
The MPH faculty is a dynamic group of experienced public health practitioners, researchers and educators. Faculty actively engages with students during courses through group discussion, e-mail, and traditional office hours.
Students are encouraged to get to know each other by working in on-line groups and discussions.
This very convenient, flexible degree program, which is focused on practice and management, will provide students with the basic knowledge, skills and values to gain employment or get promoted in the burgeoning field of public health. With our high concentration of health professions degrees, UNE is the perfect school to offer this degree program.
Continuation of Certificate Program
The MPH is a continuation of UNE’s highly successful 18-credit Graduate Certificate in Public Health program that provides students with the core public health concepts they need to either enhance their professional knowledge or to pursue a graduate degree in the field. All certificate program courses are transferable to UNE’s MPH degree program.
