International Student Admissions
The University welcomes applications from qualified international students to the undergraduate and graduate programs. We encourage diversity and global awareness on campus. International applicants need to do the following:

  1. Students must send all academic transcripts with a translation and equivalency evaluation. It is preferred that applicants use:

  2. Students need to submit an application to the University including an application fee of $40 (US currency), and a financial statement.
  3. English Language Proficiency Testing - Applicants whose native language is not English are required to demonstrate English proficiency. The following standardized tests currently satisfy the university's English requirement for nonnative English speakers:

Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL):  213 on the computer-based test; 550 on the paper test.

International English Language Testing System (IELTS):  6.0 on the test module.

This Catalog documents the academic programs, policies, and activities of the University of New England for the 2007-2008 academic year. The information contained herein is accurate as of date of publication August 1, 2007.
