Final Grade Processing
Final grades are available for viewing online using U-Online, UNE’s Online Information Service. Final grades for a given term may be viewed in a Final Grade Report or on your Unofficial Academic Transcript. During the regular term and summer term, all grades or changes of grades received by Registration Services will be processed and posted to your academic record every morning. At that time, your web grade report and unofficial transcript are updated and will reflect all changes received.
During the week of final exams for the regular fall and spring terms, grades will be processed and posted at the close of day allowing students to view updated grade reports by 9am the next morning. Instructors are given 48 hours after final exams to submit their grades. Once all grades are received, Registration Services will conduct a final end-of-term processing that includes posting Dean's List Honors and updating your academic standing. Policy on Required Course Evaluations
Course and instructor evaluations are one of the most important tools that we have for evaluating the quality of your education, and for providing meaningful feedback to course instructors on their teaching. In order to assure that the feedback is both comprehensive and precise, we need to receive it from everyone, so course and instructor evaluations are a required element of every course. To receive your grades at the end of the semester, you will need to complete the online course evaluation for each course.
Accessing Final Grades Online
To access your Final Grades on U-Online, follow these steps:
- Login to U-Online.
- Select Student Services and Financial Aid, then
- Select Student Records, then
- Select Final Grades.
- Select the term for which you wish to view grades.
Remember, only the grades that have been processed and posted by Registration Services will appear.
Printed Final Grade Report
Because grades are readily available for viewing online, Registration Services does not send out printed grade mailers. You may print the online Final Grade Report by using the print function on your browser.
Keep in mind that online grade reports are for your use only. They are not meant to be used as a report of grades to a third party. Academic transcripts are the official tool for reporting grades to a third party and may be obtained via written request signed by you.
