Upcoming Neuroscience Meetings
Society for Neuroscience
SfN's annual meeting provides the world's largest forum for neuroscientists to debut research and network with colleagues from around the world. Through lectures, symposia, workshops, and events, attendees experience innovative neuroscience research. The meeting features thousands of abstracts and provides networking and professional development opportunities.
Experimental Biology
Experimental Biology is an annual meeting comprising of nearly 13,000 scientists and exhibitors representing six sponsoring societies and 18 guest societies. General fields of study include anatomy, pathology, biochemistry, molecular biology, investigative pathology, nutrition, pharmacology and immunology. EB 2010 is open to all members of the sponsoring and guest societies and nonmembers with interest in research and life sciences. The majority of scientists represent university and academic institutions as well as government agencies, non-profit organizations and private corporations.
This multidisciplinary, scientific meeting features plenary and award lectures, pre-meeting workshops, oral and posters sessions, on-site career services and exhibits of an array of equipment, supplies and publications required for research labs and experimental study.
College on Problems of Drug Dependence
Since 1938, a major focus of the CPDD's activities has been its sponsorship of an annual scientific meeting. This conference serves as a forum bringing together basic scientists and clinical investigators from industry, academia, and government. Representatives of regulatory agencies, as well as scientists and professionals in a number of diverse disciplines interested in the biochemical, behavioral, and public health aspects of drug dependence participate.
International Narcotics Research Conference
The advancement of science relating to all aspects of opioid research primarily by providing an international forum where there can be exchanges of information among interested scientists from different disciplines.
Spring Pain Meeting
The Spring Pain Conference is a meeting of professionals sharing innovative ideas and reporting on current progress in understanding pain, mechanisms, and potential therapies.
International Association for the Study of Pain
The International Association for the Study of Pain (IASP) is the leading professional forum for science, practice, and education in the field of pain. Membership in IASP is open to all professionals involved in research, diagnosis or treatment of pain. IASP has more than 6,500 members in 123 countries, 83 national chapters, and 14 Special Interest Groups (SIGs). Founded in 1973, our association is governed by an international Council, made up of Officers and Councilors elected by the membership. Members may also serve on Committees, Task Forces, and Working Groups.
Winter Conference on Brain Research
The first "WCBR" was organized by neuroscientists from UCLA and was held at the University of California conference center near Lake Tahoe in 1968. There were ~60 attendees, and the meeting was oriented mostly towards behavioral neuroscience and electrophysiological recording. Now our meeting includes ~500 neuroscientists from all over the world who work in a wide variety of fields. The format includes over 80 posters and 84 panels and workshops. The aim of panels is for experts in a specific field to provide a broad overview for a general audience. Workshops are more focused and are aimed at discussing specific issues in a given field. Posters represent an individual's scientific contributions. The meeting provides a unique opportunity for you to catch up on new developments in fields outside your own, meet and interact with long-time colleagues, and develop new collaborations in a casual setting.
Gordon Research Conference
Welcome to the Gordon Research Conferences, a non-profit organization managed by and for the benefit of the scientific community. The Gordon Research Conferences provide an international forum for the presentation and discussion of frontier research in the biological, chemical, and physical sciences, and their related technologies.
International Behavioral and Neural Genetics Society
The International Behavioural and Neural Genetics Society (IBANGS), was founded in 1996 to promote the field of neurobehavioural genetics. IBANGS organizes annual meetings to promote excellence in research on behavioural and neural genetics. IBANGS is a young and rapidly growing society with members in Europe, North and South America, Asia, and Australia. We welcome established scientists, students and anyone else who is interested in the field of behavioural neurogenetics. IBANGS is a founding member of the Federation of European Neuroscience Societies (FENS).
