Rehabilitation Internship Program


The University of New England's Marine Animal Rehabilitation and Conservation program accepts internship applications throughout the year. We are looking for highly motivated, dynamic candidates to work in a team setting with staff and volunteers.  We are seeking applicants for a variety of positions throughout the year, especially during the summer session.

About the Internships

These positions are unpaid and interns are required to find their own housing and transportation. Interns should expect to be scheduled to cover weekday shifts, as well as nights, weekends and holidays. The ideal candidates should be mature and motivated, and possess a strong work ethic and excellent observational and communication skills.  Open to UNE students as well as other schools.  UNE students are encouraged to seek course credit through the CAS Internship Office (118 Decary Hall) or contact Cynthia Simon or x2540.

** Internship dates are somewhat flexible around school schedules and should be noted in your cover letter if different than the suggested dates shown above.
