Arvind Thakkar joined the UNE College of Pharmacy as Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences in March of 2017. Before joining UNE, Dr. Thakkar was a Research Assistant Professor at the Western University of Health Sciences. Geoffrey Bove, DC, PhD, is a graduate of Hampshire College, Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, and the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.  Dr. Bove's research interests broadly include the mechanisms and effects of manual therapies on painful conditions such as radiating pain, postoperative pain, and repetitive motion disorders.  A major focus is on pain due to neural inflammation, including effects on autonomic axons, with an eye towards homeostasis.  He has published manuscripts in such venues as Journal of Physiology, JAMA,...
