The Facility

Opened in 1989, the Campus Center is a two-story, 55,000-square-foot, steel-framed masonry building, that houses both a sports complex and student union. 

The sports complex includes:

• 25-yard, six-lane, handicapped-accessible swimming pool
• Eight-person hot tub
• Fully equipped fitness center
• Racquetball court
• Free weight area
• 12,100-square-foot gymnasium with a 1/12-mile balcony track
• Athletic Training room
• Other accommodations include showers, sauna, and locker rooms

The student union side of the facility includes:

• Snack bar (The Hang)
• Three 30' x 30' multipurpose rooms for social events, fitness classes, and meetings
• University bookstore
• Art gallery
• Lobby with comfortable seating and newspapers
• Box Office
  
• Administrative offices for Campus Center, Athletics, Student Involvement, Orientation, Health and Wellness Education, Off campus Student Services, and the BodyWISE program
