Counseling Services

Counseling Services at the University of New England provides a variety of services that address the psychological and emotional health of the graduate and undergraduate student population.

  • Individual or Group Counseling
    • Our services are offered at no cost to UNE students.
    • Sessions are scheduled by appointment. However, we also respond to emergencies and crises.
  • Conflict Resolution
    • Conflict is a natural result of transition, growth, changing environments and personality differences. Conflict Resolution Services are designed to help students, faculty and staff resolve or manage disputes with the assistance of a neutral party. We can help assess the issue, diffuse the hostility and problem solve. Additionally, staff offer workshops and other training to members of the University community.
  • Consultation and Outreach
    • Our staff is specially trained in group dynamics, conflict resolution, interpersonal communication, and provides consultation to students, staff and faculty groups.
  • Health Promotion
    • To address the on-going needs of UNE's population, our staff are available for workshops, special issues groups, informational sessions, and developmental programming and consultation.
