Getting Around

U N E students posing with their new bikesIf you choose not to bring a car to campus, UNE offers some convenient and fun alternatives to help you get around.

The Nor'easter Shuttle runs from UNE to the local train station, to the quaint and charming downtowns of Biddeford and Saco, and to Biddeford Crossing, where you find a host of restaurants and shops. The shuttle is free to use with your UNE student ID card and runs seven days a week.

The UNE Intercampus Shuttle, meanwhile, offers an ideal way for you to visit UNE's Portland Campus, where you find a range of interesting lectures, library resources and course offerings.

The Zoom Express provides inexpensive rides to Portland on weekdays, providing you with another option. You may also sign out one of our ZipCars by the hour.

If you bring a  bike to campus, you may also take advantage of an easily navigable campus that offers bike racks outside all academic and recreational buildings.
