Health and Wellness Education

UNE Employee Wellness Program

Mission Statement
The mission of the University of New England Employee Wellness Program is to increase quality of life of UNE employees, create awareness of healthy and positive lifestyle choices, and reduce the incidence of preventable illnesses and injuries by providing the tools, resources and education necessary to support health living.

About The Program
The University of New England's Employee Wellness Program was established in 2005 to promote wellness for life for all UNE employees.  The goal of the program is to promote the enrichment of mind, body and sprit through fitness training and health education.  Individuals are encouraged to participate in lifestyle enhancement programs to improve their health and function and hopefully decrease UNE health care spending.

How To Get Involved
The UNE Employee Wellness Program follows the academic year calendar, taking new participants at the beginning of each semester- fall and spring.
