Annual Events

Traditions run deep on the Biddeford Campus. From the ringing of the UNE bell during an autumn sunset over the Saco River on First Night, to the Reduce, Reuse, Rockout annual outdoor concert and carnival in the spring, events on campus mark the passage of time and lend a sense of continuity and community to life at UNE.

Family and Friends Weekend, Harvest Fest, and the 50-plus year tradition of a faculty- and staff-served Thanksgiving Dinner for the students are a few of the events you can look forward to in the first semester. In the spring, you’ll have a blast at the “Lock-In”, a nightlong extravaganza held in the Campus Center;  the Doc Samuel’s Variety Show, in which faculty, staff and students take to the stage with their talents; and the Spring Semi-formal Dance.
