Mission Statement
New Student Orientation at the University of New England seeks to prepare incoming students for academic and co-curricular success, through a holistic and on-going process throughout the first year experience. Student Leaders, Faculty, and Staff partner to ensure a welcoming, informative and enjoyable experience for students and their families, through which they will make meaningful connections and become integrated into our University's particular intellectual, social, and cultural climate. New Student Orientation also seeks to provide a shared experience for all new students, while allowing each student to make the experience personal based on his or her needs, wants and goals as they transition to our University.
