Before getting a BS in Industrial Technology, I worked as a carpenter for a commercial construction company.  My career in education began by teaching carpentry, math, CAD and architectural design at both the high school and community college level.  After receiving my MS in Special Education I began teaching in a more non-traditional setting.

I began my professional career as a cartographer, stumbled into education in my mid-twenties and have been happily teaching mathematics ever since.
