ULEAD Program
Extension 2447
Website
The ULead Student Leadership Program is designed to offer students opportunities in leadership training, education and development in order to better-prepare them for a successful and effective experience in their clubs and, as well as throughout their college career and beyond. The basic philosophy of ULead is one of involvement. We believe that when students become involved, it opens doorways through which leadership development can occur through communication and peer interactions, problem-solving, and the ability to not only create new programs but carry them out and pass their torches on to future classes of students. ULead's message is a multi-pronged one, encouraging students to seek out clubs, paid positions, and interactive workshops through which they can become more deeply involved in UNE, and thereby in their own education. These experiences outside the classroom can truly enhance those experiences they have inside the classroom.Discover! the Arts ProgramExtension 2447WebsiteIn an effort to expose students to programming and activities that will not only entertain them, but enrich their college experience, the Office of Student Activities is proud to introduce this new program. With a combination of speakers, performers, and entertainers, the Discover! series will introduce students to a variety of cultural heritages and backgrounds.
