The Facility

Opened in 1989, the Campus Center is a 55,000-square-foot facility that houses both a sports complex and student union. The sports complex includes:


  • 25-yard, six-lane, handicapped-accessible swimming pool
  • Eight-person hot tub
  • Fully equipped fitness center
  • Two racquetball courts
  • Free weight area
  • 12,100-square-foot gymnasium with a 1/12-mile balcony track
  • Athletic Training room
  • Other accommodations include showers, sauna, and locker rooms

The student union side of the facility includes:


  • Snack bar
  • Three 30' x 30' multipurpose rooms for social events, fitness classes, and meetings
  • University bookstore
  • Art gallery
  • Lobby with comfortable seating, newspapers, and magazines
  • Administrative offices for Campus Center, Athletics, Student Activities, and BodyWISE program

Opened in 1989, the Campus Center houses a sports complex including a 25-yard/six-lane handicapped-accessible swimming pool, an eight-person hot tub, and a fully equipped fitness center including two racquetball courts and a free weight area. It also contains a 12,100-square-foot gymnasium with a 1/12-mile balcony track, and an athletic training room. Other accommodations include showers, sauna, and locker rooms.

The Campus Center also includes three 30' x 30' multipurpose rooms for meetings and social events as well as a snack bar, University bookstore, and offices for the directors and office managers of the Campus Center and BodyWISE, Athletics, and Student Activities Offices.
