Parking is available at the Civic Center Parking Garage on a space-available basis at the pre-pay event rate of $3.00. Parking is also available at the One City Center lot, entrance on Free Street at the pre-pay event rate of $5.00, (mention UNE Commencement.)

Accessible Parking
Handicapped accessible parking is available at the Civic Center Parking Garage on each level. From the upper levels of the garage, take the elevator to the first floor. The access ramp to the Civic Center is on the left. Note: All vehicles parked in the handicapped parking areas must have official license plates or placards issues by the vehicle's home state.

Directions to the Cumberland County Civic Center

  • Follow Interstate 95 (Maine Turnpike) to Exit 44 (Interstate 295)
  • Follow Interstate 295 to Exit 7 (Franklin Arterial)
  • Proceed to the fifth traffic light, turn right onto Middle Street
  • Travel four blocks to the Civic Center. (Holiday Inn is across the street.)
  • There is an attached parking garage and many parking lots nearby.

From the eastern Maine seacoast and all Canadian points
  • Follow Interstate 95 to U.S. Route 1 to Interstate 295
  • Follow Interstate 295 to Exit 7 (Franklin Arterial)
  • Proceed to the fifth traffic light, turn right onto Middle Street
  • Travel four blocks to the Civic Center. (Holiday Inn is across the street.)
  • There is an attached parking garage and many parking lots nearby.

From central and northern Maine
  • Follow the Maine Turnpike to Exit 45
  • Follow the Exit 45 access road to the Interstate 295 exit
  • Follow Interstate 295 to Exit 7 (Franklin Arterial)
  • Proceed to the fifth traffic light, turn right onto Middle Street
  • Travel four blocks to the Civic Center. (Holiday Inn is across the street.)
  • There is an attached parking garage and many parking lots nearby.

From the White Mountains and all Vermont points
  • Maine turnpike to Exit 44, Interstate 295.
  • Follow Interstate 295 to Exit 7 (Franklin Arterial)
  • Proceed to the fifth traffic light, turn right onto Middle Street
  • Travel four blocks to the Civic Center. (Holiday Inn is across the street.)
  • There is an attached parking garage and many parking lots nearby.

From Westbrook College Campus to the Cumberland County Civic Center
  • From the campus turn right onto Stevens Avenue
  • At the 1st traffic light, Walton Street, turn left
  • At the next traffic light, at the bottom of the hill, turn right onto Forest Avenue
  • Follow Forest Avenue for approx ½ mile, cross railroad tracks, go through traffic light
  • At second traffic light bear left continuing on Forest Ave and follow approx. 1 mile, through several lights, go under Interstate 295, move immediately to right lane and follow 77 south/South Portland. (Road will pass Deering Oaks Park pond.) Road then turns to State Street at bottom of the hill
  • Follow State Street up the hill and cross Congress Street at top of hill
  • Take first left onto Spring Street after crossing Congress Street
  • Follow Spring Street approx ¼ mile. Civic Center and parking on left opposite Holiday Inn
