Padua Hall
Interest Pods: First-Year Student Living & Learning Communities
Padua Hall will consist of six “pods,” or clusters of student rooms that will each house 9-12 students and a Resident Advisor.  Each pod is its own separate community within the building. With the guidance of a faculty member/staff advisor, an Area Coordinator, and a student Resident Advisor, students in each pod will have the opportunity to engage in their particular Thematic Core throughout the academic year.

Building Features
Padua Hall is a three-story, co-ed residence hall with community bathrooms, laundry room, kitchenette, and a lounge on the second floor. Each bedroom is designed to hold 2 students with internet and phone access for each student.  Rooms are furnished with a bunkable twin extra-long size bed and mattress, desk, chair, dresser, and wardrobe for each student.

Applying to Live in an Interest Pod
Interested students can click here for the I-POD application and the application is due to the Office of Residential Education and Housing by Tuesday, July 1, 2008.  Applicants will be asked to answer three essay questions and give rank to the Thematic Cores that are of interest to them.  I-POD applications will be reviewed by a committee.  Letters of acceptance will be mailed with the first-year student’s room assignment in July.
