Located on College Street, Ginn Hall provides a home away from home to most of our residential first year students on the Westbrook College Campus. The building features 36 double student rooms with a common bathroom on each floor. Located on the ground level are laundry facilities and University Health Center. Each floor has common kitchen shared with the residents of McDougall Hall. The connection between Ginn and McDougall Halls allows students to study together or just have fun. Each student room features two desks, two desk chairs, two voice/data/cable jacks, two wardrobe closets, two bureaus, and two extra-long twin beds. McDougall Hall connects with the Ginn Hall, located on College Street. The residence hall provides housing primarily to first and second year students. Each room is carpeted with two desks, two desk chairs, two voice/data/cable jacks, one study chair, floor lamp, and two built in wardrobe, two extra-long twin beds, and bureau units. The three floors contain a total of 36 double student rooms. The ground floor features no-cost laundry room, lounge area, and recreation room. The recreation room contains a ping-pong table, stereo, TV, VCR and DVD player for residents of Ginn and McDougall Halls.
Linnell Hall is located College Street adjacent to Alexander Hall (location of Cafeteria, Office of Student Activities, etc.). This desired location gives easy access to the Bookstore, Cafeteria, and Wing Lounge. Currently, Linnell Hall houses first, second year or third year undergraduate residential students. Male students are located in the six double rooms located on the first floor. The 12 double rooms on the second floor provides accommodations for female residents. Located in the basement level are laundry and kitchen facilities for resident use. Each room in Linnell Hall features two desks, two desk chairs, two voice/data/cable jacks, two bureaus, two extra-long twin beds, window curtains, and two built in wardrobe closets.
New for fall 2005 is Proctor House. This newly updated and renovated facility provides independent, suite style living to four upperclass, undergraduate students on the Westbrook College Campus. These students are selected to live in the facility based on academic performance, length of time living on campus, and involvement in the student activities. This furnished house features four single bedrooms, full kitchen, dining room, living room, 1.5 bathrooms, fireplace, and basement with washer/dryer. Each student room contains one double bed, voice/data/cable jack, a bureau, wardrobe closet, desk, and desk chair.
