Multicultural and Diversity Services

Multicultural & Diversity Services

The Office of Multicultural Affairs & Diversity promotes a welcoming and inclusive campus environment that embraces individual differences regardless of race and ethnicity, nationality, sexual orientation, religious conviction, socio-economic status, gender or gender identity.

We provide services that strive to enrich the student development, leadership, personal growth, and social experiences of all UNE students with specific commitment to students from traditionally under-represented groups.

Additionally, Multicultural Affairs sponsors co-curricular programming and learning opportunities that raises awareness about diversity issues and promotes cross-cultural understanding for the entire UNE community. Multicultural/LGBTQ programs and events are coordinated throughout the year on both the UNE Portland Campus and UNE Biddeford Campus.
