Multicultural and Diversity Services

Multicultural & Diversity Services

The Office of Multicultural Affairs & Diversity promotes a welcoming and inclusive campus environment that supports the leadership development, social experiences, and academic persistence of students from traditionally under-represented groups on campus.  We also offer educational and co-curricular programs that help raise cultural awareness and sensitivity and appreciation for diversity and intercultural understanding for all students.

Ways to get involved:

  • Participate in our Trailblazer Intercultural Excursion, a special orientation geared toward first-year undergraduate multicultural and LGBTQ students, as well as any student interested in intercultural programs and diversity on campus.
  • Join our Diversity Leadership Certificate program to raise cultural awareness for personal and professional development.
  • Serve on the Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration organizing committee.
  • Become a member of one of our affiliated student clubs and organizations.
  • Apply to work in the Cultural Exchange Lounge or visit the Lounge often!
  • Attend a Safe Space Training to learn more about LGBTQ awareness.
