Adult Learner Services

Adult learner services and commuter student advocacy are an integral part of the activities and programs taking place in the Proctor Center. Commuter and non-traditional students can find support and help with their special needs and concerns. Workshops and informal brown bag lunches are scheduled throughout the year on topics which may include: time and stress management, juggling parenting and studying, managing finances, and how to become and stay connected to the WCC Community.

The Omicron Psi National Honor Society (see link) is designed exclusively for non-traditional students. It recognizes the unique challenges and contributions of these students to the life of the University and to their families and communities.

The Proctor Center is always interested in hearing from adult students regarding improvement of services and the creation of programs which serve their needs.
