I hold UNE's faculty and staff in the highest regard. The English Department, in particular, utilized the small classroom numbers and gave each student a great deal of attention. In fact, it felt more like one-on-one tutoring than simple course lectures. I was always encouraged to visit during office hours and to express my opinions, which allowed me to comfortably explore my creativity in more than one setting. Because of my experience at UNE, I was able to discover my personal goals, increase my ambition, and expand my capacity for learning.

As an English major, I was inundated with writing assignments and presentations. I can honestly say that each one was immensely useful in granting me the ability to clearly and intelligently articulate my thoughts, especially in the professional world.
