UNE offers local children safe place to trick or treat Oct. 22nd

Local children aged 2-10 and their parents or guardians are invited to this year’s Harvest Fest at the University of New England's University Campus in Biddeford.

The free event, which provides a safe space for children to trick or treat and to create memories, is scheduled for noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 22, 2006 in the UNE Campus Center.

In past years Harvest Fest  has included a haunted house, story telling, arts and crafts, games, trick or treating, picture taking and frame decorating. Doughnuts, cider and many varieties of candy are provided.

UNE’s Hall Council sponsors the event, and a variety of UNE student clubs and organizations provide the various activities.

This is a family event. No RSVP is necessary. For more information, contact Christina Olstad at 602-2863 or Larissa Bonnet at 602-2548.

The University Campus is located on Hills Beach Road off Routes 9/208 in Biddeford.
