Public invited to free health fair sponsored by medical school student organization

The public is invited to a Health Fair covering a wide range of medical and health topics on Saturday, March 11, 2006, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., in the Campus Center of the University of New England, 11 Hills Beach Road, Biddeford. Admission is free.
 
Topics include blood pressure and cholesterol, nutrition, cancer, infectious diseases, massage therapy, diabetes, depression and anxiety, prenatal care and pregnancy, weight loss and exercise for kids, among others.
 
There will be healthful give-a-ways and a raffle, with half the proceeds going to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
 
The fair, titled “A Healthier LIFE, a Healthier YOU!,” is sponsored by Sigma Sigma Phi Honor Society at UNE’s College of Osteopathic Medicine. The booths will be staffed by representatives from UNECOM’s student clubs and organizations, as well as from local businesses and nonprofit organizations.
