Liz Moberg
Liz Moberg is a graduate of Colby College and the University of Pennsylvania Master of Fine Arts program. She moved to Maine in 1982 and has worked as a teacher, decorative painter, color consultant and fine artist. She currently lives in South Portland.

Moberg works in pastel "en plein air" and loves the adventure of working outdoors. She states, "In May [2007] I traveled to Rockville, Utah and worked in and around Zion National Park. In the Maine woods, marshes and oceanfront, where I've painted for many years, I've felt aligned with the land, trees and waves. In the immense arid southwest I was humbled by the vastness and felt more like a tiny speck in the Big Picture. I returned home with a new appreciation for both perspectives.  I believe the natural world is our sustenance, both physical and spiritual. Making art is how I stay in touch with that belief."
