UNE Hosts Portland Chamber Music Festival Spring Concert February 4th

The Portland Chamber Music Festival’s spring concert will feature performances of works by Haydn, Ives, and Brahms on Friday, Feb. 4, 2005, at 7:30 p.m. at Ludcke Auditorium at the University of New England’s Westbrook College Campus, 716 Stevens Ave., Portland.

The concert is sponsored by the University of New England’s Richard F. Bond Enrichment Series.

The program will include Haydn's Duo for Violin and Cello; Ive's Songs for Baritone and Piano and Largo for Clarinet, Violin and Piano; and Brahms' Trio for Clarinet, Cello and Piano.

Performers will include Scott Andrews, clarinet (Boston Symphony Orchestra); Jennifer Elowitch, violin (Boston Pops Esplanade Orchestra); Aaron Engebreth, baritone (Emmanuel Music, Boston); Andrew Mark, cello (chair, String Department, Boston Conservatory); and Dena Levine, piano (faculty, Seton Hall University).
