2nd International Student Research Forum Focuses on 'Brown vs. Board of Education' March 1st
"Brown vs. Board of Education: A Multi-America Perspective" is the topic of the second International Student Research Forum on March 1, 2005 from 3-5 p.m. in Alfond 205 at the University of New England's University Campus in Biddeford.
The presenter will be Troy Allen, Ph.D., associate professor of history, from Southern University at Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
The forum is open to the University Community.
The forum is an exciting joint venture with three U.S. and two international universities that focuses on bringing together students from different ethnicities in interactive workshops, lectures and seminars.
The other forum member institutions are Southern University, The University of Arizona, Universidad de Monterrey, Mexico and Universidad de Chile.
UNE was pleased to offer the Research Forum's first videoconference program, "Anatomical Donation: Ethical Dilemmas - Current Issues," presented by Neal Cross, Ph.D., anatomy professor in the UNE College of Osteopathic Medicine, on Jan. 25, 2005.
