The Fifth Annual Sculpture Garden Invitational will be on view June 16 - October 3, 2006 at the University of New England’s Art Gallery and Garden on the Westbrook College Campus, 716 Stevens Ave., Portland.

An opening reception, free and open to the public, will be held on Friday, June 16 from 5:00-8:00 p.m.

This exhibition pays tribute to Grant Jacks, the first curator of the Sculpture Invitational, and Shirley Jacks, a dedicated champion of the arts in Maine.

It will feature many artists including Tom Chapin, Edward M. Friedman, Carole Hanson, Lucy Hodgson, Pandora LaCasse, Donna LaLiberte-Caron, Dexter Lazenby, Lin Lisberger, Harriet Matthews, Bryce Muir, Nancy Nevergole, Jean Noon, James Pierce, Roger Prince, Celeste Roberge, Constance Rush, Jesse Salisbury, Carolyn Treat, Andreas von Heune, Melita Westerlund and Sumner Winebaum.
