Art Gallery presents Sixth Annual Sculpture Garden Invitational

PORTLAND- The Sixth Annual Sculpture Garden Invitational will be on view June 14 - October 31, 2007 at the University of New England's Art Gallery and Garden on the Westbrook College Campus,  Portland.

An opening reception, free and open to the public, will be held on Friday, June 15 from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. The reception will feature a live jazz band.

This exhibition pays tribute to Grant Jacks, the first curator of the Sculpture Invitational, and Shirley Jacks, a dedicated champion of the arts in Maine. It will feature many artists including Edward Friedman, Lucy Hodgson, Sandy MacLeod, Nancy Nevergole, Jean Noon, Verner Reed, Constance Rush, Jesse Salisbury and Melita Westerlund.

Art Gallery hours are Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 1:00 to 4:00 p.m., Thursday, 1:00 to 7:00 p.m.
