UNE to host annual community service and volunteer fair

BIDDEFORD - The University of New England will host its 3rd Annual Fall Community Service and Volunteer Fair on Wednesday, September 19, 2007 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the Campus Center on the  University Campus in Biddeford.

The Fair, free and open to the public, will feature a broad range of York and Cumberland County volunteer service providers including the UNE College Community Mentoring Program, American Red Cross of Southern Maine, Habitat for Humanity, Southern Maine Area Agency on Aging and the United Way. Individuals, communities, schools, civic and church groups who are looking for volunteers or other agencies to network with are encouraged to attend.

This event is a collaborative effort between the University of New England Citizenship Program, United Way York County and Directors of Volunteers in Agencies (DOVIA) York County.
