This non-credit course prepares Registered Nurses for re-entry into professional nursing practice through reinforcing the didactic knowledge base and strengthening procedural skill performance. The 90-hour course includes a student pre-arranged 40-hour clinical experience in a health care delivery setting. Participants must have an active nursing license in the State of Maine or New Hampshire, present evidence of professional malpractice insurance, proof of PPD testing within the past year, and current CPR certification at the level of health care provider.

Early registration is strongly recommended. Due to the limited number of seats available in this course, there is a $100.00 non-refundable deposit. In the unlikely event of low enrollment, the course may be subject to cancelation. In case of cancelation by UNE, registrants will be notified by phone or letter, and a full tuition refund will be given. Participants who withdraw fewer than 15 days prior to the program will receive a refund less a $25.00 processing fee and less the $100.00 non-refundable deposit. There is no refund 15 or fewer days prior to the start of the course.
