The Blewett Science Center houses the Portland Campus’s science laboratory classrooms; the Clinical Simulation Program, which features several high-tech simulated patients; health assessment labs, and health professions skills labs; as well as a number of classrooms. Blewett is home of the Department of Nursing and Health Services Management.

The various enhancement, skills and assessment labs are teaching and learning spaces that simulate the type of settings students will find in hospitals, doctor’s offices, nursing homes and other health care facilities.

Blewett also houses the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program's Biomechanics Laboratory, which uses computer and video technology similar to that used to create the "Lord of the Rings" creature "Gollum" for physical therapy teaching and research.
