Annual Sculpture Garden Invitational 2012

The UNE Annual 2012 Sculpture Garden Invitational honored Grant Jacks, the first sculpture garden curator, and Shirley Jacks, who as editor of Maine Biz was the first to write about the newly re-opened UNE Art Gallery.
This year offered an original mix of works. Fanciful and imaginative, conceptual and whimsical, these works of sculpture placed in the Gallery vestibule and around its exterior as well as in the Quadrangle facing Stevens Avenue delighted visitors, passersby, faculty, students and staff.

Anne Alexander, Constance Rush, Lin Lisberger, Pat Plourde, Roger Prince, Elizabeth Ostrander, Patric Santerre, Nancy Nevergole, Melita Westerlund, Carole Whelan and Andreas von Huene.
