As a student in one of our Environmental programs, your exploration of the natural world begins on our scenic shoreside campus in Biddeford, Maine. You find the different habitats of Biddeford Pool, the Saco River, and the Atlantic Ocean just a short walk away. You also benefit from UNE’s 350 acres of contiguous forest, which combine to serve as an outdoor classroom. Opportunities also abound to accompany your professors and fellow students into a variety of other natural settings to observe, participate in group projects, conduct research, and learn.
