Bryan Hill '98

Bryan Hill ’98 shares stories and advice on:

-PT Entrepreneurship

-Advice for starting your own business

-Leveraging your UNE experiences for what's next

Bryan received his Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy and Health Sciences from the University of New England and has been a physical therapist in the San Diego community since 1998. He was a 4-time All American Soccer player for the Nor’easters and was elected in 2008 to the UNE Hall of Fame.

In 2003, he founded Rehab United Sports Medicine and Physical Therapy in his garage, which has grown to 5 clinics and nearly 100 employees that service San Diego and Seattle. Since its inception, Bryan has envisioned Rehab United as an environment in which we educate, empower, and connect with our community to create breakthroughs in their lives. Whether it is recovering from an injury, improving fitness levels, or creating lasting relationships, the emphasis is on being a catalyst for our clients’ and team members’ lives to change. Over the last 15 years, Bryan has innovatively developed Rehab United to become a top-notch one-stop shop for patients, offering collaborative health services including fitness, coaching, massage, acupuncture, custom orthotics, nutrition, and specialties in Women’s Health and Vestibular Therapy. Equally important to the company and Bryan is community involvement and forming strong partnerships.

In addition, Bryan has focused on making Rehab United a place where patients, employees, and the community alike can thrive and be successful. His commitment to this vision has resulted in Rehab United receiving multiple recognitions, including Best Sports Rehab Center, Best Sports Massage, Best Physical Therapists in San Diego, San Diego’s Best Places to Work, and one of the U.S.’ Top Company Cultures.  As well, Rehab United is currently a finalist for Best Family Business, and Fastest Growing Company’s by Inc. 5000.

As a way to further Bryan’s professional development he wanted to find another way to help people by sharing his knowledge and journey. Bryan was sought after by San Diego State DPT Program to be an adjunct faculty to teach. Also teaching at Pt. Loma Nazarene Masters of Athletic Training Department. More recently he has begun public speaking, hosting seminars, and started RUniversity an educational platform focusing on Applied Functional Science, Physical Therapy, and how to run and grow your PT, wellness, and fitness business (Entrepreneurial Coaching).

Reception with cash bar followed by remarks and discussion.
