Lecture Paul D. Merrill Business Ethics Lecture
Please join the UNE Community for the eleventh annual Paul D. Merrill Business Ethics Lecture. This year’s speaker is David Roux, chairman of Jackson Laboratories. He will present “Social Trauma: Technology Tsunamis and Other Dangerous Consequences of Higher Education.”
David Roux is the chairman of Jackson Laboratories, one of America’s largest independent biomedical research institutes. Roux was previously at Silver Lake Group, which he co-founded and where he served as co-CEO and chairman until his retirement. Earlier in his career, he worked as a senior executive at Oracle, Liberate, Lotus, and Datext. Roux grew up in Maine and attended Harvard College, Kings College at Cambridge University, and Harvard Business School.
