As part of UNE's annual commemoration of Dr. Martin Luther King’s visit to St. Francis College in 1964, the Department of Intercultural Student Engagement will host a keynote address by Dr. Angela Davis on January 23, 2019. Dr. Davis’ speech is titled “Freedom is a Constant Struggle,” which is also the title of her latest book.  
A light lunch will be served on a first come, first served basis from 12 to 12:30 p.m. The keynote event will begin at 12:30 p.m. at the Performance Court in the Harold Alfond Forum at 630 Pool Road, Biddeford. A simulcast will be aired in Innovation Hall on our Portland Campus and on our Tangier Campus as well. A brief Q&A will follow.
