The Eldercare Journey

Information Session

The University of New England is proud to offer The Eldercare Journey: An informational and supportive gathering for caregivers on Saturday, August 24 from 8:00 a.m - 3:00 p.m in Ludke Auditorium on UNE's Portland Campus.

Addressing the needs of aging family members or friends can be a confusing, stressful and at times overwhelming process. This FREE event is designed to cover key topics that all those caring for older adults need to know in an environment of support and sharing.

Local experts will present information on the health care and social services systems, legal planning, residential care options, and geriatric medicine. Participants will leave with knowledge and practical resources to assist them with the complexities and challenges of accompanying a parent, friend or other family member as they age.

Lunch and refreshments will be served. Space is limited and you must register to attend by clicking here.
