Learn about UNE’s on-campus MSW Program, in-person or live online! Hear from Charlotte Warren, Maine State Representative and UNE SSW alumni about how you can use your MSW to affect policy change at a macro level. Warren serves as the House chair of the Criminal Justice and Public Safety Committee and will speak about how her training from UNE as a social worker has given her the skills necessary to work in the legislature. Alumni '17 Kara Auclair Justice Project Coordinator at Maine Volunteer Lawyers Project will also be joining to discuss her experiences.
Hear about our three specializations:
- Clinical Practice
- Community Practice
- Integrated Practice
And our three certificate opportunities (* integrated into your MSW curriculum):
- Trauma-informed Social Work Practice
- Applied Arts and Social Justice
- Training in Aging Diversity ($10,000 Stipend Opportunity).
Clinical Professor and Field Faculty Member, Amy Coha, M.S.W., L.C.S.W., will also provide an overview of UNE's MSW Program at large and discuss what distinguishes our Field Education Program. Current MSW students and admissions staff will be available to answer any additional questions.
