Spring Orientation 2020 for Transfer Students

Information Session

Welcome to the Spring Transfer Orientation website! We are excited you will attend UNE in the spring of 2020!

During the months of December and January, deposited transfer students will be able to self-register for classes under the advisement of a professional academic advisor. Orientation for transfer students takes place on Tuesday, January 14, 2020 and is designed specifically for a transfer student population. We understand you have attended another college or university but want to make sure your transition to UNE is a successful and supportive one.

The first step in your transition to UNE is to register for Spring Orientation.
Once you register we will be in contact to schedule appointments to meet your advisor and begin the process of registration. These appointments will take place starting December 2 and can be in person or over the phone, depending on your availability and preference.
Students who will be living on campus and attending Spring Orientation are able to move into their residence hall on Monday, January 13. Check-in for resident students will be from 3–5 p.m. in the Campus Center with dinner and evening activities to follow.

Tuesday’s program will begin with check-in for commuting students starting at 10 a.m. in the Campus Center Lobby. The formal program will begin at 11 a.m. and conclude at 3:30 p.m. at which time campus tours will be available for interested students.
