The Department of Arts offers two Bachelor of Arts programs and two minor programs.
Our programs emphasize the acquisition of knowledge through experiential learning in both traditional studio arts and digital media, and encourage creative cross-disciplinary solutions to real-world problems.
Art Education K-12
The Art Education K-12 degree, in collaboration with the Department of Education, prepares you to be an elementary or secondary visual arts teacher.
Art and Design Media
In Art and Design Media, you'll apply innovative technologies to the traditional arts or to a wide range of other professional challenges.
You'll receive an in-depth introduction to studio art in both traditional and contemporary practice.
You combine expertise in psychology and art to promote healing and well-being in people with disabilities.
