Double Majors for Environmental Science or Studies

As an Environmental Science or Environmental Studies major, you may opt to double major in another discipline. This popular way to enhance your career-preparedness allows you to complete both degrees in four years. You may consult the sample course sequences below. Because some courses can fulfill two requirements, the course sequences do not require that you take more than 18 credits in any one semester.

A double major is one way for you to prepare for the complexity of real-world environmental challenges by drawing knowledge from more than one field of study. As an Environmental Science or Environmental Studies major, you may also broaden your knowledge through an internship and optional research and study abroad experiences.

You may also consider pursuing a minor rather than a major in one of these other fields.
