The Department of Mathematical Sciences emphasizes student-centered learning supported by technology. We provide a foundation in the various branches of mathematics, preparing you to apply your knowledge to the traditional math fields, but also to many other disciplines that are growing increasingly dependent on mathematics for modeling and analysis. We offer the following programs:

Math textbooksBachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics

As an Applied Mathematics major, you'll gain a well-rounded education in the liberal arts focused on the mathematical sciences and their use in solving quantitative questions in mathematics and other disciplines.
